An enquiry is not a purchase. Before work begins, we agree the scope, price and next step with you.

1. Scope and agreement
These terms apply to agreed Schatz Labs services under the Tu Asesor en Suiza brand where incorporated into the engagement. A form, check, initial conversation or automatic receipt confirmation does not by itself accept a paid service. The engagement begins when both parties accept the individual quote. Individual agreements take precedence.
2. Included work
The quote records the result, people, period, quantities, limits, follow-up, required documents and dates. Additional work is agreed before it starts. A package does not include every further procedure, but agreed scope and quantities are not reduced retrospectively. We correct our own errors free of charge and do not charge for exceeding our internal time estimate. Necessary explanations of our own result do not use additional support credit. The four tax offers include one client-requested correction round before filing, a necessary simple deadline extension during the engagement where the deadline can be extended, and one ordinary review of the related assessment, even if it arrives later or after the engagement ends. Other expressly included follow-up rounds do not expire solely because an authority responds late.
3. Prices and external fees
All amounts are CHF. Private prices include 8.1% VAT; business fees are subject to an additional 8.1% VAT. The quote confirms the unit, period, setup, net fee where applicable, VAT, total and known external charges. Quote requests and the initial data and completeness check are free; a clarification of up to 15 minutes is included where needed. A private tax analysis requires a separate engagement: CHF 179 including VAT for up to 60 minutes, accounted for once in the total price of a subsequent engagement. Specialist work or clean-up for businesses requires separate agreement at CHF 160/h plus VAT and a cost cap agreed in advance. A “from” price applies to the described case. Authority fees, notarial services, external translations and other third-party costs are included only if expressly stated, are itemised before acceptance and paid to the relevant provider. The payment schedule is agreed in the quote.
4. Continuation and price protection
The agreed price, scope and additional rates of a continuing engagement remain until cancellation, including renewal. Private clients retain the agreed final price including VAT, even if VAT changes; businesses retain the net fee plus the statutory VAT then applicable. New list prices apply only to new engagements, not annual renewals. Continuing a tax engagement requires an explicit choice; there is no preselection and a one-off engagement creates no follow-on engagement. New additional services have their own price agreed in advance. There are no retrospective quantity changes, reductions in included work or automatic package changes. After an engagement genuinely ends, a new engagement uses the price then agreed; cancellation is not used as a planned route to raise existing engagement prices.
5. Service period, year-end work and setup
The financial year is the service and calculation period, not an automatic obligation to pay twelve instalments if the engagement ends earlier. For a mid-year start, we agree the service period, first financial year and total price in advance; there is no automatic retrospective full-year invoice. The agreed first year-end accounts and tax work are included even if due before the twelfth instalment. Unused support expires at the end of its period; promised annual work remains included. The same setup, registration or business tax schedule already paid for is not charged twice as part of an agreed continuation. A client’s own software licence and external charges are priced separately; our processing software, secure document transfer and readable export are included in bookkeeping packages.
6. Documents and cooperation
You provide complete and accurate information and tell us about relevant changes. We agree the required documents and delivery channel. We do not need your passwords or online banking access. We flag missing information and adjust the schedule accordingly. If a procedure requires your signature, authorisation or personal attendance, these steps remain necessary.
7. Deadlines and submission
Mentioning a deadline in an enquiry does not mean we have taken responsibility for meeting it. We expressly confirm which deadline and submission we handle. Until then, you remain responsible for acting in time. Any agreed review or approval by you must be completed on time. Authority and third-party processing times are outside our control.
8. Specialist work and external decisions
We provide only expressly agreed services we can undertake. If specialist expertise or a third-party service is needed, we clarify who performs the work, the contracting relationship and the cost beforehand. We do not guarantee housing, employment, a permit, a bank account, tax savings or a favourable authority decision. Linking to an organisation does not imply a commercial partnership.
9. Changes and termination
Tell us promptly about changes or termination. Statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected. The quote records the payment schedule and settlement of completed work in advance. For the individual Compact tax return, work actually completed is settled at the agreed rate of CHF 139/h including VAT, capped at CHF 169 for the tax-year engagement concerned. Other tax engagements expressly state their rate and annual cap. For business packages, the quote allocates the fee between ongoing processing and year-end/tax work; this allocation creates no extra charge. Only completed work and setup are charged according to documented progress, with partial months prorated, alongside authorised external expenses. Related payments are credited and any balance refunded. Remaining annual instalments do not automatically become due, and no retrospective year-end fee is invented. Readable data, outstanding items and upcoming deadlines are handed over in an orderly way.
10. Responsibility and data
Our responsibility for agreed services is governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The privacy notice explains data processing. Accepting these terms does not authorise newsletters, advertising tracking or unrestricted use of information.
11. Applicable law and contact
Swiss law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protection and jurisdiction rules. If anything is unclear or does not match the agreement, contact us so we can review it. Contact us by phone on +41 78 640 53 89 or by post at Schatz Labs, Unterdorfstrasse 8, 8890 Flums, Schweiz. Version dated 12 September 2026.
