This website uses AI-generated or AI-edited images to illustrate our services. Depicted scenes may be staged and do not necessarily document actual consultations, clients or situations.
Glossary search
Glossary search runs in your browser. We do not transmit or store the words you enter. Shared links identify only a public explanation. With your statistics consent, we measure search use through result-count categories and opened terms through public identifiers; never the search text.
Controller and contact
The controller is Schatz Labs, Unterdorfstrasse 8, 8890 Flums, Schweiz. Contact us by phone on +41 78 640 53 89 or by post at Schatz Labs, Unterdorfstrasse 8, 8890 Flums, Schweiz.
What we use and why
We process information you provide through forms, calls, meetings and contact channels: name, contact details, language, location, the help you need and information necessary for your enquiry. We use it to respond, prepare a quote and carry out an agreed service. Collaboration enquiries are used to assess that collaboration.
Check, results and PDF
The check calculates guidance in your browser without sending answers while you complete it. Requesting a PDF sends the answers to the server for temporary processing, without storing them in our own database. Email delivery also requires your address for that delivery. Only submitting an enquiry to Sven shares the selected summary with our team. The result is not a decision with legal effects or an individual tax assessment.
Documents and communications
This website does not accept document uploads. A short description is enough for an initial enquiry: do not include health information, complete tax records, identification numbers, passwords or access codes. Before receiving documents for a service, we agree the channel and required information with you. Requesting a PDF does not subscribe you to newsletters or authorise marketing campaigns.
Telephone and WhatsApp
The WhatsApp link opens an external WhatsApp/Meta service. Using it may involve the provider processing your number, device and communication data under its terms, including outside Switzerland, such as in Ireland and the United States. We use the conversation for your enquiry and coordination; phone or post remain alternatives. Clicking the link does not itself send a message. We record calls only after informing you and obtaining your consent.
Technical data and preferences
Visiting the website involves processing technical information such as IP address, time, requested page and browser data to deliver the site, protect it and resolve errors. Your cookie choice is saved locally in your browser with its save time and remains valid for 180 days. We then ask you to choose again on your next visit. You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting optional measurement does not prevent you from reading guides or contacting us.
Drafts in your browser tab
Separately, form and check drafts may be stored in your browser tab’s session for up to 30 minutes after the last change so you can continue or change language. An enquiry draft is deleted after successful submission. These drafts are not used for analytics or advertising.
Vercel hosting
Vercel Inc., United States, hosts the website and processes requests and technical data needed to operate it. When you request a PDF, this infrastructure also temporarily processes its generation data. Vercel uses international infrastructure and providers; hosting does not mean all data stays in Switzerland. This does not authorise us to reuse your information for advertising.
Newsletter: a separate choice
The newsletter is not enabled in this version. Contacting us or requesting a PDF does not add you to a marketing list. Any future subscription will be separate, voluntary and confirmed by email, with an unsubscribe option.
Statistics with Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 loads only with your statistics consent. It uses cookies to connect visits and helps us understand pages read, traffic sources, campaigns and interactions: clicks, reading depth, form starts and steps, and completed actions. We send only public identifiers and predefined categories; never names, emails, phone numbers, messages, search text, check answers or documents. Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google companies, including in the United States, may process usage, cookie and device data. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalisation and send denied advertising consent signals. Withdraw statistics consent in cookie settings to stop future measurement and remove Google Analytics cookies accessible to this website.
Measurement with Vercel Web Analytics
Vercel Web Analytics is activated only with your statistics consent. Vercel Inc., United States, processes pages visited, traffic sources, country, browser, device and general actions for aggregated statistics. The service works without cookies and distinguishes visits through a request-derived hash; this session identifier is discarded after 24 hours. This is not a deletion period for aggregated statistics. Action data is limited to language and public identifiers; unapproved URL parameters are removed. We do not transmit contact details, free text, check answers or results.
Optional recordings with Microsoft Clarity
Clarity loads only with your separate choice for session recordings. It reconstructs interactions with approved public content, including clicks, scrolling and pointer movements, for recordings and heatmaps. It uses pseudonymous cookies and device and usage data. The check and careers/collaboration pages are completely excluded; forms, inputs, errors and confirmations on other pages are masked. We do not provide our own customer identifiers. Microsoft Corporation, United States, and affiliates including Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Ireland, may process data internationally as independent controllers. Microsoft may use this data under its privacy statement, including to improve its services and provide Microsoft Advertising; we send denied advertising consent. Recordings are normally available for 30 days, and heatmaps and certain selected or marked recordings for up to 9 months. Withdraw this choice in cookie settings to stop future capture and remove Clarity cookies accessible to this website.
Access, providers and international processing
Access is limited to people who need the information to assist you or operate the systems. Referrals to an external professional are agreed with you; we do not sell contact details. The identified providers may process data in the stated countries and use subprocessors. Where transfers require safeguards, legal mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses must apply. You may request details of recipients and safeguards relevant to your information.
Retention and deletion
We retain enquiries and correspondence while needed to handle the matter, and afterwards only where retention is required or evidence is reasonably needed. Accounting records covered by Article 958f CO must be kept for ten years from the financial year’s end; not every enquiry is an accounting record. Unsuccessful applications and collaboration proposals are deleted after assessment unless further retention is separately agreed. Backups and provider logs may have different deletion cycles from active data.
Your rights and processing grounds
You may request access, correction and, within legal limits, deletion or delivery of your data. You can withdraw optional consent for the future without thereby cancelling an enquiry or service. Swiss data protection rules apply. Where the GDPR applies, the described purposes rely as appropriate on pre-contractual steps or contract, legal obligations, legitimate operational and security interests, or consent for optional functions. You may contact the FDPIC or your competent data protection authority. Contact us by phone on +41 78 640 53 89 or by post at Schatz Labs, Unterdorfstrasse 8, 8890 Flums, Schweiz.
